The  3rd Russian-Armenian Annual Industrial Exhibition “EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA” was held  28-30 October  2010

 in  Armenia, Yerevan

Exhibition goal:

To develop economic, scientific, technical, cultural and political cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia; to establish and consolidate ties between the two countries; and to develop joint business, trade, economic and investment relations.

Exhibition topics:

Construction, Energy, Metallurgy, the Automobile Industry, Engineering, Transportation, Geology, Agricultural and Food, Innovations and Investments, Telecommunication Services, Medicine and the Pharmaceutical Industry, Banks and Insurance Companies, Information Technologies, Chemistry, Education.

 President of Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended the official opening of  “Expo Armenia-Russia. 2010” which is aimed at the development of mutually beneficial scientific, technical, cultural, economic and trade cooperation between Armenia and the Russian Federation and fostering bilateral business ties and investments.

At the exhibition, which is conducted under the “2010 – Year of Science and Innovations in the CIS” heading, President Serzh Sargsyan toured the pavilions and familiarized with new technologies in energy, including atomic energy, machinery building, transport, communications and telecommunications, construction, chemical production and other areas.

At the Yerevan Expo along with a number of Armenian companies seventy companies from eighteen regions of the Russian Federation presented their production. Marzes (regions) of the Republic of Armenia are also represented at the Expo.President S Sargsyan at Expo-Russia Armneia
